EDWIN Model 4EFS is a kind of 4 inch water filled AC/DC Hybrid Solar Deep Well Pump. It uses permanent magnet brushless frequency conversion water-filled motor, which is also a Double inner and outer shielded motor with field-oriented control function. It can avoid the water leakage and mechanical seal friction, and the wet rotor cooling effect is also better. The pump uses soft start, it can also extend the service life. The pump uses High-accuracy rotor with graphite bearing and thrust bearing, the submerging depth can reach to 150m. Customer can choose the built-in intelligent controller type, power range is from 500W to 3000W. Multi protection function is supplied: Dry-running protection, reverse protection, over-load protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, phase loss protection etc. In DC mode, the MPPT function can achieve over 99% efficiency. How to choose the Solar Panel?
To choose a suitable Solar Panel, we only have to notice 2 things:
1) The panel power should be at least 1.3 times the pump power.
2) The VOC of the Solar Panel should be less than pump's VOC.
For example:
We got the pump which is 500W, and VOC is 105V
Then we got the solar panel with its power: 330W, VOC 45.89V
So we only have to connect 2x330W solar panel in series, then it's OK!
Analysis:
we have the solar panel power totally 660W (bigger than 500W*1.3=650W),
the VOC of the solar panel system is 45.89*2=91.78V (less than 105V)
If users want to use bigger power for the solar panel, it's also ok, but do make sure, the total VOC will be no more then the pump VOC, sometimes users can also choose the series+parallel ways for connect the pump panel.
